On Day 10, I went back to work. We took the group on a guided tour of St. John's and then there was free time in the afternoon. The Tour Director and I offered an optional trip to Bay Bulls during the free time to go on a boat cruise out to an offshore nature sanctuary for whale and puffin watching. All music by Ionide. Day 7, the day the group heads on to Newfoundland, but I stay behind in Sydney NS. First, we have to get there and we visit the Alexander Graham Bell museum in Baddeck NS on the way. Due to one Newfoundland ferry being down for repair, the long ferry route is not currently running so our group will have to cross to Channel Port-aux-Basques, NL and drive to St. John's. On Day 3, we travel from Quebec City and finally entire the first maritime province on our itinerary, New Brunswick. We make stops at a wood carvers in St. Jean Port Joli, Qc, take our lunch in Edmunston NB, and stop in Hartland NB to see the longest covered bridge in the world. Overnight in Woodstock NB.
